Gregor is a leader in Reed Smith’s global Entertainment and Media Industry Group, and is one of the world’s leading lawyers in digital music.
Through his experience of working in-house and counselling clients in the music industry for over 15 years, Gregor is able to advise at the highest level concerning the acquisition, production, licensing and distribution of content on digital media networks and platforms. He has been involved in many of the landmark deals and cases that have influenced the development of the digital music market that we know today. He also regularly advises companies that are involved in the distribution, sale and exploitation of other digital content, including video, computer gaming services, social networks, aggregators, platform owners and search engines, in respect of their arrangements with content owners and consumers. Content owners, including computer game companies, film and television production houses, record labels, music publishers and advertisers seek his counsel regarding the protection and exploitation of their intellectual property rights.
